AT A GLANCE
The Hillsboro Youth Group empowers students in 6th -12th grade to be Christ-followers and engages them to learn how Christ can be the focus of daily life. Through Bible study, fellowship, local missions, global missions, and more, the HYG shares God’s light with its students and encourages them to share their light with the world. See below for more information about HYG activities. Please contact Joseph Mankin and Meg Dove, Hillsboro’s Youth Ministers, with more specific questions about the HYG.

The HYG meets regularly throughout the week to help students stay focused on God and build community. Several different opportunities are available for students at all grade levels, such as small group Bible study, Life Groups, Home Devotionals, Bible Class, impromptu hangouts, and more.
Throughout the year, the HYG participates in several retreats, which allow students to step away from daily life and recharge. Retreats include separate opportunities for girls and boys as well as opportunities for different age levels.
Each summer, the HYG spends a week in God-focused study, fellowship, and fun. Unique yearly camp themes allow campers to focus their minds and bodies on specific aspects of Christian living that help them grow in their faith and build a close Christian community.
LOCAL & GLOBAL MISSIONS
The HYG participates in several missions opportunities in Nashville and surrounding communities that are organized by the HYG or are coordinated by other local missions partners. Additionally, the HYG rotates years for short term missions trips in the United States and in Honduras.
