Planning Commision Recommends Conditional Approval

The Forest Hills Planning Commission voted Thursday night, June 18, to recommend an approval of Hillsboro’s building expansion, subject to further examination of issues regarding traffic, landscaping and lighting with city staff, Hillsboro church and representatives from neighbors in the immediate area of the church. The recommendation to the City Commission for approval, with conditions, will be heard at their next meeting on July 16.
We would like to thank the Planning Commission for their consideration, and all of our neighbors in the community for their constructive input. We look forward to working closely with our city officials and neighbors over the next few weeks as we seek to address the concerns of traffic, landscaping and lighting and proceed to a final submission to the City Commission.
