  • Needlework Outreach Group – 5:00 pm in the East Fellowship Hall
  • Fellowship Meal – 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall – Beef stroganoff, corn pudding, peas, garden salad, biscuits, and chocolate cherry cake. Hosts: Friends in Faith
  • Classes for all ages – 6:45 pm – Summer class schedules available here.

  • Sunday PM – Praise in the Park at Hillsboro – This Sunday we will have a special Praise in the Park right here at Hillsboro! Bring your chairs, blankets, picnics and yard games to the green space behind the bus garage for a night of worship and fellowship. We will also have two food trucks present.

FAMILY NEWS

  • Flood Relief for West Virginia – The Tidwell family will be traveling to West Virginia this Friday, and they are asking for donations of Kroger & Walmart gift cards that they might use to help the many families who are in need. Please contact Karen Tidwell (615-479-5505) if you can help out.
  • Heart Sister Registration Now Open! A Heart Sister is a single woman, a wife and/or mother with children still in her home, or a single mother with children in her home. A Heart Sister agrees to commit to a small group (Heart Family) for nine months. She will be the guest of honor at a Heart Mom’s home along with other Christian young women and enjoy Christian hospitality through a meal, friendship, fellowship, and Bible study. Click here to register online, or pick up a form at the Welcome Center!

  • Host Family Needed: Have you ever considered hosting an exchange student? Opening up your heart and home to a student from another culture can be an educational and life-changing experience for your family. CCI Greenheart Local Coordinator Melanie Foge is seeking a wonderful family for Sam, an incoming 11th grader at Lipscomb Academy. Sam is from Vietnam - he is a good student, enjoys sports, loves to read, likes camping, and enjoys cooking. He attended public school in Michigan this year and had a great year with his host family.   • The HYG Honduras Mission Team is currently working in Tegucigalpa. Please pray for their safety and success as they share God's love this week!
  • David Abbey is recovering at home.
  • Lee Bates, wife of Vernon Bates, is at Vanderbilt after a recent fall. No visitors at this time, please.
  • Chris Boyce is recovering from his injuries sustained after a recent seizure.
  • Carol Chadwick, mother of Cristie Buffington Nathan Chadwick, is recovering from back surgery.Woody Crowder, cousin of Jan Crowder, is currently recovering from surgery & injuries from a recent car accident. Please pray for his recovery.
  • Lori Jones, mother of Andrea Crawford, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will have surgery tomorrow, June 28. Prayers for her health and a successful surgery are much appreciated.
  • Lucian Minton, brother of Delores Davidson, has been hospitalized at Centennial and is in need of prayers for his health.
