Nelson Isongyo
Nelson Isonguyo is a diligent servant of God. He is a graduate of Lipscomb University and attended Hillsboro while he lived in Nashville. He has preached in Nigeria for over 40 years and has served as a Bible college administrator.
Over the years he built a reputation of setting high moral and academic standards as Principal of Nigerian Christian Secondary School and as Director of Akwa Ibom State College of Education.
Hillsboro began supporting Nelson when he retired from the College of Education and began serving as teacher and administrator at Nigerian Christian Bible College. After several health problems, one of which caused him to lose most of his eyesight, he retired from NCBC.
Due to the respect many church leaders have for him, he continues to be called upon to advise and settle disputes at local congregations. His wife, Ekaette, drives for him. Though he has had physical setbacks, his mind is as sharp as ever, and he continues to serve whenever and wherever possible.
