FALL RETREAT | November 18-20, 2011
Following Christ is not always about leaps of faith, it’s about taking steps in the right direction. Every leap of faith is made up of daily steps towards God. God asks us to walk through life one step at a time, so don’t be afriad to take the first step or the next step because God is always ready for you take a step in His direction. Join us as we learn to strengthen our faithful steps toward God.

Where: Natchez Trace State Park
Who: Open to current 7th-12th graders
Cost: $65 per student (checks payable to Hillsboro)
Packing List…
Sleeping bag, pillow, blanket and/or twin bed sheets
Toiletries (toothbrush, soap, deodorant, flip flops, etc.)
BIBLE – PLEASE don’t forget to bring this one!
Flashlight, comfortable clothes & a jacket
One pair of comfortable walking/hiking shoes
No iPods or portable game systems – PLEASE!

We had a wonderful time in beautiful Gatlinburg, TN along with 12,000 other students at Winterfest 2011. Our time was spent growing, learning and honoring our God through song, fellowship and most of all love. No other event compares to the experience at Winterfest as we witness thousands of teens and adults coming together for the one reason. If you missed out this year, make sure to plan to attend next year.

We had a wonderful time together on our Spring Retreat! We learned how important it is to love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind. If you get a chance to catch someone that attending this event, make sure to ask them about our egg hunt this year. Thanks again for all the prayers on our behalf for a great weekend together!

This year’s fall retreat was a great time to get away from the ordinary and spend a weekend with friends. We had a wonderful time at the beautiful Dotson Lodge in Centerville, TN. From spinning around in circles with a pen on your nose to sharing a story about your favorite item, it was a great retreat! We want to thank all those that kept this event in your prayers. God is doing amazing things in the hearts of these teens!
