Better Together
The newest addition to the Marriage and Family Ministry, “Better Together” is a ministry to couples who are seeking ways to grow as a couple, as well as grow together in their ministry to others. Better Together will offer classes, activities, experiences, and resources to help couple realize they are “better together,” and that they can always improve—and life is better together!
D6 Families
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deut. 6:5-7
D6 stands for Deuteronomy 6:5-7 which commands dads and moms to take everyday opportunities to impress God’s Word upon the hearts of their children. D6 is foundational to raising spiritual champions for Christ. Find Out More…
Faithful Parents
Faithful Parents is a group of parents who meet on the third Sunday of every month to seek prayers and support for their children and each other as they navigate the difficult task of remaining faithful and influential in their children’s lives. Read more…
The Third Option now at Hillsboro
The Third Option is an on-going group program to build better marriages. It is designed for all married couples and can be used both as marriage enrichment or crisis intervention. For hurting couples, who see only two options (painful endurance or divorce) the third option means reconciliation. For ordinary couples, the program teaches them the skills they need to have happier, healthier marriages. Come for enrichment. Come for support from other couples and to learn the tools needed to have a successful marriage. Or come because you don’t know where else to turn but you care about your marriage and want to make it work. The class typically runs for 14 week sessions, but anyone can drop in at any time and begin the journey to a stronger marriage. Read more…
