CONNECTIONS MINISTRY
Encouragement Outreach: Tommy Roberson / An outreach effort to uplift each other as we try to do God’s will. This is an opportunity to write, call or visit members and visitors to Hillsboro to show our concern for them. This ministry includes our shut-ins, helping them stay connected to the church family. The outreach also has a monthly dinner to support and uplift all those involved.
New Member Involvement: Mike Hinson / Welcomes and acclimates new members to Hillsboro. This ministry seeks to incorporate new members into ministry, guide them into the life of the congregation and provide connection opportunities with other members.
Fellowship Events: Darrell Lambert / Helps plan and prepare for congregational dinners, parties or receptions. Duties include setup and clean-up, as well as some shopping for event supplies.
Food Outreach: Mary Ruth Temple, Camille Brosky, Amy Rucker / This Ministry organizes teams of members to prepare and deliver food to Hillsboro families in need during sickness, tough times or with the loss of loved ones.
